Company Benefits
Our competitive benefits package is designed to offer you a wide range of health, retirement and career-oriented benefits. This summary highlights some of the features of The Care of Trees’ benefits and other programs.
Medical Plans
The Group Insurance Plan offers two deductible options and your contributions to the plan are pre-tax.
Dental Plan
Employees are eligible to participate in the dental program and will pay 100% of the premium. Preventive Services are covered at 100%; Basic Services are covered at 80%, and Major Services are covered at 50%. Your contribution for dental benefits will be made with pre-tax dollars.
Vision Plan
A Vision Plan is offered to employees and they will pay 100% of the premium on a pre-tax basis. There is a $15 co-pay at participating vendors and no co-pay for frames up to a retail value of $100 purchased from a PPO Network Provider.
Short-Term Disability Plan
We offer a Short-Term Disability Plan. The weekly benefit is determined by your annual salary and you may be eligible to purchase additional coverage. You may receive benefits up to 13 weeks if you become disabled.
Life, AD&D, & Supplemental Insurance
Each employee is offered to enroll in the Basic and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Life Insurance Plan. Costs are based upon coverage. If you are enrolled in Basic Life, you are eligible for the Supplemental Life Insurance Plan as well.
401KSOP
The 401KSOP (401-k & ESOP) Retirement Savings Plan gives our employees the opportunity to secure a more comfortable and enjoyable retirement. New participants will become eligible with 1 year of service as long as they are 21 years of age. Vesting is 3 years of company service and employees may contribute on a pre-tax basis. The Company offers a generous annual match in stock or cash, at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
Employee Stock Purchase Plan
All full-time employees with one year of service are eligible to purchase company stock at a discounted rate.
Vacation
Employees accrue vacation time (after their 90 day waiting period) on a monthly basis. On a general basis, employees will typically have two weeks of vacation and may earn up to four weeks of vacation depending on years of service. Our Vacation Policy will detail out the eligibility and the accrual process.
Personal Days
We will provide you with four additional paid personal days each year. You will earn one personal day at the end of each calendar quarter month (March, June, September, and December 15th). To earn your personal day(s), you must have started on or before the first day of the calendar quarter and worked to the end of the quarter. As an added bonus, you will receive an additional day if you are here from January 1st through December 31st.
Holiday Pay
We have 6 paid holidays (after eligible) which include: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Savings Plan
Employees may participate in a payroll deduction savings plan that allows them to put money aside and earn interest which is calculated in March and September.
Direct Deposit
We offer all of our employees the convenience of electronic funds transfer of their paychecks directly into their account at their local bank.
Service Discounts
We offer a discount off regular service rates to all employees.
Tuition/Training
We offer Tuition Reimbursement that is pre-approved by your District Sales Manager and Regional Manager. Additional training is also available.
Referral Bonus Program
The Care of Trees offers a Referral Bonus Program as we are always looking for great productive employees throughout the Company.
Clothing Allowance/Uniforms
If you are a full-time employee who has worked at least 30 calendar days, you are eligible for a clothing allowance. This allowance is paid into your reserve account (kind of like a savings account) each week that you work. You may use this money to purchase eligible clothing, footwear, and accessories.free, in house English classes after hours, with half-pay for time spent in class.
Tuition Reimbursement
Regular/full-time employees are eligible for tuition assistance after completing 90 days of employment.
